paper mobiles
I've been making paper mobiles since 2005 as studio art practice.
My mobiles are made of high quality, fade resistant, non-toxic construction paper or cardstock, thread, staples, and glue. These lightweight materials maximize movement and are surprisingly durable.
They are dynamic, relaxing additions to any home.
If you are interested in purchasing or commissioning a mobile please be in touch!

The Art Lending Library (ALL)—from 2008–2015—was a program that lent local, original artwork to the public for free. It was the first of its kind in the country. The program's mission was inspired by the idea of art equity: To support underserved artists and patrons, by fostering relationships between the two. The goal was to make art available to more people and to support local artists who are not served by the traditional art establishment.
I co-founded the program with Flynn Bickley and Seth Damm in 2008. The ALL was housed at the Youngstown Cultural Arts Center in West Seattle. Listen to a story by Katherine Banwell on NPR or visit the sister program: Minneapolis Art Lending Library for more info: http://www.artlending.org/
